Turkmenistan national seriously injured in an accident at the Guzelyurt highway
The victim Charykuly Achilov, 25, who was in a high speed reportedly lost control of the vehicle and hit a palm tree along the road side.
His left foot was caught in the car and was rescued by firefighters and traffic police who removed him from inside the vehicle.
Police said he sustained injuries to the body and fractured a bone.
He was taken to a Lefkosa hospital for treatment.
