Turkmenistan international arrested for robbing two Lefkosa shops in one night where he stole EFES beer and cigarettes

Break into a shop just to steal beer and cigarettes?? A Turkmenistan international was on Thursday arrested for robbing two shops in a night in lefkosa after been identified by security cameras.

The suspect identified as Ruslan Hatamov who was charged to court on Thursday for robbery is said to have robbed two Lefkosa shop in one night and was identified from security cameras.

According to police report, the suspect committed the crime on Wednesday, March, 7 at about 1:30am. 

Police said he robbed a shop on a storey building by breaking the through the glass window. The suspect is said to have stolen 143 packets of cigarettes, CNR cash registers and 3 backpacks of various brands that were kept in the store.

After robbing the first shop, the suspect broke into another shop, a beer shop operating in Lefkosa by breaking the lock and stole 5 EFES brand beers in the ice box.

The suspect was ordered by a Lefkosa court to remain in police custody for one day for investigation purposes.
