Iranian couple arrested with fake Bulgarian passport

Iranian couple posing as Bulgarian and trying to enter south Cyprus using a fake Bulgarian passport at the Metehan border Gate between north and south Cyprus has been arrested by TRNC immigration officer.

According to report, the Iranian couple were arrested on Saturday evening when they presented their fake Bulgarian passports which they had prepared to immigration at the Metehan border Gate.

Ali Darkhosh and Seyedeh Narges, both accepted the crime during interrogation and were taken to the Lefkosa Accident Court on Monday.

The couple were ordered by the court judge to remain in police custody for three days for investigative purpose.
