House arsoned in Güzelyurt

A house belonging to a Turkish Cypriot man, was arsoned in Güzelyurt early Friday morning.  

According to police report, the house located on Alpay Başaran Street, in Güzelyurt was set on fire with a flammable material at about 2:30 am on Friday while one person has been arrested in connection with the incident.  

Police said the flammable was poured in front of the entrance gate.

The fire was extinguished by fire crews. 

The house doors and electrical system were partially burned and damaged, while the corridors and rooms were damaged.
