According to a report by Turkish Cypriot daily, Yeniduzen, president Mustafa Akıncı and President Nicos Anastasiades will have an informal meeting on Tuesday 26 February at the residence of the UN Secretary-General’s Special Representative and Chief of the UN Mission in Cyprus Elizabeth Spehar.

The meeting will begin at 10.30am.

Meanwhile, Nicos Anastasiades has said that Akinci's demand for political equality leads to political inequality, arising from the demand of one side to overrule the other side.

He noted that political equality for the Turkish Cypriots had been recognised for decades.
