Man stabs girlfriend in the throat in TRNC because he thinks she's cheating on him

A man who allegedly stabbed his girlfriend violently in their Saflas apartment in Cihangir where they lived together has been arrested and taken to court.

The accused, Kamuran Kale committed the crime on Tuesday, March, 19 at about 5:30pm ad was taken to court in Lefkosa on Wednesday on charges of intentional damages, assault and threat of violence.

The accused is said to have damaged his girlfriend's phone by smashing it on the wall before using a scissor on the table to stabbed her on her hand before accusing her of cheating on him and threatened to kill her. 

He then held her by the throat and hit her on various part of her body.

The accused, a Turkish citizen is said to have committed similar crime in the past and was released on bail.
