Higuain to leave Chelsea, club to decide Sarri's future

Chelsea are not yet sure of their course of action when it comes to their manager Maurizio Sarri. 

Sarri has not convinced the Chelsea fans with his style of football, but he has nevertheless delivered Champions League football for next season.

Progress in the Europa League means that a victory in Baku over local rivals Arsenal might convince the board to give him at least one more season, though Roma want him to take over for their next campaign.

Chelsea are preparing to let Gonzalo Higuain at the end of the season. Higuain is on loan from Juventus, and Chelsea have an option of around £15 million to extend the loan for another season, and about £31 million to make the transfer permanent, but the 31-year-old striker has failed to impress. 

Chelsea are expected to sign Mateo Kovacic on a permanent deal, and extend Olivier Giroud's deal for another season, report the Daily Mail.
