2 People arrested in Girne for growing marijuana in pots
Two people, a male and a female were arrested in Girne for growing weed in their house.
The accused, S.E, 43 and m.C.E, 37 were arrested at their home in Girne on Friday by a team of Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate.
A total of 16 root castor plants grown in pots were detected in the balcony of their home.
As well as the plants, about 2 grams of castor-mint type drugs were found in a hang bag in the bed room of the individual.
They were arrested and detained for questioning.
