Nigerian taken to court for illegal residency in North Cyprus

Nigerian student who was arrested at the weekend in a case of illegal residency in the country has been brought to court.

The student appeared in a Lefkosa court on Monday following his arrest in Girne on Friday, June, 13 for staying in the country without a resident permit.

He came into the country as a student on September, 2018 but failed to process his resident permit.

He was given a four day detention order by the court.
