Eight people arrested for living and working in the country without a permit

Five people were identified and arrested for living in the country without a resident permit.

They were arrested between Tuesday, July, 23 and Wednesday, July24 in several parts of the country in an operation carried out by the police to combat crime.

Two of them were arrested in Famagusta, one in Kyrenia and two in Iskele.

Also, three other persons found to be working in the country without a work permit were arrested in Iskele.
