Three detained for staying in North Cyprus illegally

At least nine people were identified and detained for staying in North Cyprus without a resident permit.

The illegal residents were identified and arrested in an operation carried out by Turkish Cypriot police between Wednesday and Thursday to combat crime in the country.

 Two of the were identified in Lefkosa, and seven in Kyrenia.
