Drug dealer jailed seven years

Ömer Yurt with many fake identity documents numerically more than ten, who was smuggling into the island drugs approximately 450 drugs and pills was sentenced to seven years imprisonment term. 

The convicted man was operating an illicit drug dealing in Nicosia town.

Former Nicosia Heavy Penal Court President Nüvit Gazi, Senior Judge Şerife Katip and Judge Umut Inan unanimously ruled on the sentencing to be seven years in jail for the convicted drug mule. İt was a warning call to all drug dealers that the law will take its course ruthlessly.

The court also noted that the illicit drug dealing by the accused caused a lot of serious unrest in the society and a length jail term was the only best suitable solution. The judgement on the accused was meant to take zero tolerance on illegal drug dealing on the island.
