North Cyprus university terminates a student's admission for not having up to 75% class attendance

Students studying in North Cyprus are likely to have their admission terminated if they refused to meet the minimum attendance required for the semester.

In 2018, TRNC authorities announced news rules that mandates all foreigners studying in the country to reach a minimum of 75% class attendance every semester.

Though this rule has been in existence for years, it's full enforcement became practical in 2018.

Under the rule, any student who doesn't reach the minimum 75% class attendance every semester risks their studentship being terminated by their universities.

We took a look at how the new rule has affected students studying in the country and found only a few cases where it was applied.

*** Has anyone witnessed/heard of any case where a student's admission was terminated for not having up to 75% class attendance?
