Paedophile mum jailed for sex with daughter’s school friends

A female paedophile who had sex with her daughter’s school friends — including a 14-year-old boy - because she had “low self-esteem” has been jailed.

Coral Lytle will spend the next four years behind bars.
A female paedophile who sexually abused her daughter’s school friends — including a 14-year-old boy - has been jailed.

Coral Lytle, 42, pleaded guilty last month to 21 felony offences including sexual intercourse with a minor, oral copulation with a minor, contacting a minor for sex, and showing porn to a child, in California.

She was today sentenced to four years behind bars, the Fresno Bee reports.

The court earlier heard that Lytle’s two victims were students at Redwood High School in Visalia, and that she started molesting one of them when he was 15 years old in September 2017.

Weeks later she turned her attentions to another teenage boy, 14, the Visalia Times Delta reports.

Coral Lytle told authorities she had low self-esteem.
According to the criminal complaint, Lytle would allegedly drive about 20km from her home to sexually abuse the victims.

Court documents show she would collect the boys from parks or their homes without the knowledge of their parents. She then provided them with alcohol and cigars, the court heard.

On one occasion, Lytle picked up one of the teens after he snuck out of his home in the middle of the night. She then sexually abused him at her house before taking him back at 5am the next day.

Both boys were friends of Lytle’s daughter at Redwood High School in Visalia.

One of the victims said he had sex with Lytle three times in total, with the last time occurring on October 5, 2017, ABC 7 reports.

SENT NUDE PHOTOS
Her perverted crimes were discovered when a parent of one of the boys saw nude photos Lytle had sent their son.

Lytle’s husband Eric divorced her after she was exposed — and she now goes by the surname Blain.

The crimes in this case committed by the defendant involved great cruelty and callousness especially considering the defendant took advantage of a position of trust to molest two boys who she met when they [were in] teenage dating relationships with the defendant’s daughters, a Tulare County deputy district attorney wrote in a brief.

Following her arrest, she told authorities that her actions stemmed from the death of her sister and low self-esteem.

In April, prosecutors offered a plea deal that would have seen her walk free with only a six-year suspended sentence.

But Judge Joseph Kalashian ripped up the agreement after discovering the depravity of Lytle’s crimes. She was released on bail until returning to court for sentencing. But on this occasion, Lytle wasn’t able to walk away.
