Shravan has also suggested that rape without murder should be legalized according to OpIndia.
Shravan’s controversial proposal comes following quasi-epidemic levels of brutal rapes, gang rapes, rapes involving murder, sexual torture, and sexual assaults coming out of India–particularly in more lawless rural areas.

Movements defending women’s rights in India have emerged
following gruesome crimes against women and girls of all ages.

Following on from the country’s sexual crimes–which often make international headlines–Shravan claimed that rape victims should offer condoms to rapists and co-operate with them to avoid getting murdered.
Shravan argued that “Rape is not a serious thing but Murder is inexcusable”.
Shravan went onto say that “murder is a sin and a crime. Rape is a corrective punishment. No justice is going to happen with Nirbhaya Act or Priyanka Act. The agenda of rape is fulfilling the sexual needs of rapists based on that time or mood.”
Shravan has since deleted the posts and issued a bizarre apology, claiming that the remarks he had made were written as a dialogue for a villain in a film he wishes to direct in the future.
