MESSAGE FROM CHELSEA NGERUKA
“It truly is an honor sharing a stage with the creative line up that is Poets On An Island. This will be my debut poetry performance and what a way to begin. To know that I get to experience what it feels like to perform alongside the truly talented Ree The Wordsmith and Poet Bryan who will be performing for their last time on the Island. To Isaac Yamie who believed in me and allowed me to bring out my writings to performance art. Mphoe who I look up to in all aspects, to be so strong and fierce. She inspires me more than she knows. Ayomide whose writing I continuously learn from and a great mentor for my own. To be in the presence of such talent and inspirational minds is a great honor, one I will always be grateful for.”
