Three students arrested for drugs in Lefkosa

Three students who were arrested in Lefkosa last week after police found drug in their vehicle during a search has been to court on drug charges. 

The suspects identified as A.W and İ.M were arrested on Feb, 21 after police discovered 50 grams of banned substance at their disposal during a road check in Göçmenköy, Lefkosa.

The police who also carried out a search in their dormitory also found drugs on the refrigerator, in a white plastic tray and a weigh balance.

The drugs were taken as exhibit.

The police demanded that the suspects be detained in prison for another 3 days, stating that the investigation launched regarding the matter is continuing.
