Paul Pogba open to PSG move if Real Madrid move fails

Although Real Madrid reportedly lead the race to prize Paul Pogba from Manchester United, the France midfielder is reportedly open to joining Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Amid continued doubts concerning his future at Old Trafford -- which contractually ends in 2021 -- Le10Sport said Monday that PSG are throwing their hat into the ring for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's midfielder.

The report says the World Cup winner is seeking a fresh start away from the Premier League after a turbulent return to United, despite his signing for £89 million from Juventus.

Meanwhile, Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has offered United up to four of his players in exchange for Pogba, with two of those players being Martin Odegaard and James Rodriguez.

In other news, Manchester United are monitoring the situation surrounding Manchester City star Raheem Sterling, according to the Independent.

The report claims that Sterling's name is high on the club's transfer list and United feel there could be a chance to sign the forward if their fierce rivals fail to overturn their two-year Champions League ban.

It is also reported that the England international is likely to join Real Madrid should he decide to leave the Etihad Stadium.

-Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen says he won't leave the club at the end of the season as negotiations continue over a new deal.

Ter Stegen, 28, is out of contract in 2022 and has been linked with a move away from Barca in recent months, although sources close to the player have always insisted his desire is to remain at Camp Nou.

Talks regarding an extension have currently stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but the Germany international has allayed any fears he could look for a transfer this summer.
