Some area in North Cyprus without water supply despite water cut restoration

Some regions in North Cyprus are still without water supply despite the restoration of water supply on Saturday after a 3-day cut to help carry out maintenance and repairs on water facilities in the country.

On Saturday, the TRNC Department for Water Works announced that water supply from the Geçitköy reservoir had resumed after maintenance and repair work on the pumping facilities for the reservoir was completed on Friday night.

Since the announcement, some residents in some region have complained of no water supply. One of the mostly affected region is Gonyeli.
