Yellow weather alert for extremely high temperatures on Thursday
The Cyprus Met office has issued a yellow weather alert for extremely high temperatures on Thursday.
The warning is in effect from 1:00pm to 5:00pm.
Temperatures are expected to rise to 41°C inland and 34°C in the coasts, and 31°C in the higher mountains, according to the island’s Meteorological Service.
The weather will be mainly fine with locally increased clouds, mainly in the mountains during the afternoon.
