Worker die at pandemic hospital under construction in Lefkosa

A work accident occurred in the construction of "Pandemic Hospital" in Lefkosa on Monday afternoon.

A 60-year-old man identified as Şerif Sami working at the site died in the accident that happened at about 4:45 pm. It was learned that the worker, who was said to be under the truck, died at the scene.

Şerif Sami reportedly lost his balance when he wanted to move forward by holding the rearview mirror to show the location of the load to be unloaded by the truck and fell under the right front wheel of the truck and lost his life.

The investigation continues.
