8 New cases of coronavirus reported in North Cyprus on Friday

8 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Northern Cyprus on Friday which brings the total number of cases there so far to 797.

1,915 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and 8 new cases were confirmed.

2 of the cases came to the TRNC by air, 1 person came in contact with a previous case who is under surveillance and 5 were local cases.

They have started receiving treatment at the State Hospital Quarantine Service in Lefkosa.

5 people were discharged from the hospital after completing treatment.
