Two vehicles collided along the Lefkosa-Girne highway

Two luxury vehicles were involved in traffic accident along the Lefkosa-Girne highway on Tuesday night.

According to police report, the accident happened at about 10:00pm between kilometer 1-2 of the Nicosia - Kyrenia Highway. 

The two luxury vehicles involved in the accident were on the same lane heading in the direction of  Bosphorus when one of them crashed into the other from behind. 

One of the vehicles was thrown off the road as a result of the accident.

Police said the driver of one of the vehicles, a 27-year-old student was under the influence of alcohol. 

No one was injured in the accident.
