23 year-old mum with 11 kids wants dozens more with her wealthy husband

A young mum who already has 11 babies hopes to have dozens more using surrogate mothers.

Christina Ozturk, 23, lives with her millionaire hotel owner husband Galip Ozturk in the coastal town of Batumi in the former Soviet republic of Georgia where the practice is legal.

And after 10 babies, including one that the mum gave birth to naturally, the couple have got the process down to a fine art.

They mentioned on social media they wanted at least 105 but later admitted that number was a joke.

All of the potential candidates go through counselling and sign legal paperwork before becoming pregnant with children that are genetically from Christina and her husband.

The young mum, who is originally from Moscow, Russia, was a single mother when she decided to take a break to the subtropical paradise referred to as the 'Las Vegas of the Black Sea'.

She said it was love at first sight when she met Galip on the first day there, and described him as her "mentor, guide and fairytale prince all rolled into one".

For his part, he confirmed it was love at first sight as well.

"She is so easy to be with, she always has a smile on her lips and yet at the same time is shy and mysterious.

"She was the kind of wife I always wanted for myself, an uncut diamond where I saw what a pure and kind heart she had," he said.

After the meeting things moved quickly, with Christina taking her little daughter Vika with her and moving to Batumi.

She said that despite the fact Galip was a lot older than her he had no objections to the large family, even though he already had adult children of his own.

The couple also agreed that they wanted as many children as possible, but they were ambitious and realised quickly that her reproductive ability was not enough to meet their demands.

So they decided to get involved in using surrogate mothers, which works out at a cost of around EUR 8,000 (£7,000) for everything involved.

She said: "At the moment, I have 10 children with the latest addition, Olivia, who arrived at the end of last month.

"I gave birth to my eldest daughter Vika myself six years ago.

"The rest of the children are genetically ours from my husband and I, but were carried by surrogates."

On social media they have spoken about having 105 children but admit this was just a random number.

She added: "I don't know how many they will eventually be, but we certainly don't plan to stop at 10."

She said: "We just not ready to talk about the final number. Everything has its time."

While admitting it is more difficult to raise a large family than she assumed, she said she had planned at first to have a baby every year before she learned about surrogacy.

A clinic deals with the surrogate mothers, while Christina and Galip monitor health indicators and set a meal plan during pregnancy.

The couple only choose young women who have already had at least one pregnancy, and have no addictions.

One surrogate had trouble giving up the baby but legally had no rights and had to hand it over.

Georgia has allowed surrogacy since 1997 as long as the couple involved are heterosexual and married.

While still using surrogates, Christina has not ruled out having other babies herself but said it currently not practical while IVF is a big strain on her body.

Christina said people assume she has an army of nannies while she lives the high life, but claims she actually spends all day with her children.
