All travelers to North Cyprus needs Adapass code and 5,400 hotel quarantine fee no longer a must

From Monday, September, 6, the QR code to be obtained from the adapass.gov.ct.tr address will be required for all persons aged 18 and above for who ever will enter the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus using air, sea and land gates.

According to the decision taken by the Communicable Diseases Supreme Committee on September 1, those who will enter the country from Monday will fill out the passenger form at adapass.gov.ct.tr before the trip and enter the island with the QR code to be obtained.

People who do not add their information to the site and do not receive a QR code will not be able to enter the country.

Turkish Cypriot citizens are required to enter with Adapass code, Turkish citizens' Healthpass code, EU citizens' Greenpass code and UK citizens' NHS QR code and other documents as they will be checked upon entry to the country.

Citizens of other countries are required to add their valid vaccination cards and/or PCR test results to the section specified in the application and bring the attached documents with them as they will be checked upon entry to the country.

Also there is good news as most airports in Dark Red countries no longer demand hotel quarantine fee of 5,400TL from students before boarding. Both old and new students can now apply for home quarantine and pay 750TL before departure.

For those traveling from Nigeria, it's advisable to use the Abuja airport.
