Man batters wife for not accepting group s*x with friends

A 31-year-old man who assaulted his wife for not agreeing to group sex with his friends will face trial in court.

The suspect, identified only as A.A, 31 reportedly battered his wife at their apartment in Dumlupınar-Lefkosa at about 10:30pm on Tuesday, March, 29 for not accepting to have a group sex with his friend.

He was arrested and taken to court on charges of violence, threat and serious assault following a complaint.

Police told the court that the suspect had beaten his wife on the grounds that "she did not accept group sex with his friend".

Police in its statement, said the suspect, punched his 29-year-old wife on the head and face following a verbal argument. He threatened to use violence by calling his wife on the phone who left the house following the incident, saying, "Come home, I will kill you immediately, I will kill you". 

Police said a doctor's report was obtained which showed that the woman, had marks of beating and force on her head.

The accused was released on bail, banned from going abroad, must report to the police station once a week, provide two credible TRNC citizen guarantors to sign a personal surety bond worth 200,000TL and deposit 10,000 TL in cash.
