9 people banned from traffic for drunk driving

The Turkish Cypriot police has focused on alcohol inspections in motorists in order to prevent drunk driving, which is one of the important factors that causes traffic accidents.

According to information given by the police, as a result of the inspections carried out by the police across the country on Wednesday night, legal action was taken against a total of 9 vehicle drivers who were found to be driving drunk.

A total of 15 vehicles were banned from traffic due to drunk driving and other traffic crimes.
