Russian nationals wants direct flight to the TRNC

Russian-speaking nationals living in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) are calling for direct flights between Russia and the TRNC.

The head of the Russian Speaking Association of North Cyprus Marina Kocadal said that direct flights between Russia and the TRNC would be more convenient for Russian nationals living here.

The head of the Russian Speaking Association of North Cyprus Marina Kocadal told the Anadolu News Agency (AA) that they desired direct flights between the TRNC and Russia adding that this would have a positive effect on many sectors.

Stating that the TRNC is an advantageous place to develop commercial ties, Kocadal said, “The natural beauties of the island are amazing. We work and live here, we deal with trade. Direct flights will be convenient for traders and tourists. There are also many Russian citizens living here. Direct flights between the TRNC would be extremely convenient for us”.

Similar calls have been made by other Russians living and trading in the TRNC.
