5 Vehicles banned from traffic, 1 driver arrested

15 vehicles were banned from the roads and 1 driver was arrested for flouting traffic rules during traffic inspections carried out by the teams affiliated to the General Directorate of Police on Friday night.

In the traffic inspections, 1,042 vehicles were controlled, 15 vehicles were banned from the roads and 1 driver was arrested.

79 people were reported for various crimes, including speeding above the determined speed limit, 7 people driving under the influence of alcohol, and 4 people driving without a driving license.

A total of 259 people were fined at traffic controls.
