Liberian student dies in hospital in Northern Cyprus

A 25-year-old Liberian student, who loving in Lefkosa has died after reportedly falling sick. Liberian student dies in hospital.

Zue Joel Kollie, died at the Lefkosia State Hospital at around 1:45pm on Tuesday, January, 3 where he was take to despite all effort to save him.

A source who reached out to Olomoinfo, claim he fell off while another said he fell sick briefly.

No official statement has been released as to the true cause of his death.

The Liberian Students Association in the TRNC in a Facebook post said Zue, a student of Rauf Denktas University was a dedicated and diligent student, who left Liberia to continue his studies in Northern Cyprus.

He was captain of the university football team and also served as team’s deputy captain for the Liberian Students Association in Northern Cyprus.

The students association said that he was a modest man and that they grieve for his passing.
