Ignore rumors of tsunami in Cyprus - sea level recession is a normal phenomenon

The TRNC Chamber of Meteorology Engineers has issued a clarification regarding the rumor that a a tsunami will occur due to the receding level of the sea in Cyprus.

In a statement on Monday, the Chamber of Meteorology Engineers explained that the reason for the recession in sea levels is due to the high pressure and northerly winds affecting the region, and this is normal.

The Chamber of Meteorology Engineers stated that the withdrawal in the seas has no connection with the earthquake, and that the rumors that a tsunami will occur do not reflect the truth.
