The body Turkish Cypriot student recovered from hotel wreckage on Thursday

The body of a Turkish Cypriot student trapped in the wreckage of the Isias Hotel in Adiyaman, Turkey has been recovered.

The body of Doruk Akin, 13 found on Thirsday morning.

On Wednesday, the bodies of two of the teachers from the group, Pamir Konuklu and İbrahim Yakula, were found in the rubble of the hotel.

Minister of National Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu said that the rescue teams in the region are continuing with their work without interruption.

Çavuşoğlu said they have pulled out 23 people from the rubble.

“The patient wait of our families continues. May God help everyone” he wrote.

After the bodies of two teachers were found, an official statement was made by the Prime Ministry.

“As a result of the search and rescue efforts carried out at the Isias Hotel in Adıyaman, the dead bodies of our teachers Pamir Konuklu and İbrahim Yakula, who were a part of the TRNC group, were found. We wish God’s mercy on our brothers, our condolences to the bereaved families and our people” the statement read.

Rescue efforts at the Isias Hotel in the Adıyaman region to reach the Turkish Cypriot team that was staying at the hotel are continuing.
