Narcotics police said it seized 250 grams of cannabis and 150 grams of cocaine it discovered in a parking lot in Ortaköy.

A suspect identified only as ET, who came to the region and was found to be related to the incident and another suspect identified only as YA were arrested and brought to court on Thursday on charges of “Importing and Disposal of Illegal Drugs, Cannabis and Cocaine”.

Police said the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate were informed that suspicious substances were found in a land area in Ortaköy on Wednesday, March 1.

Police stated that during the control, 250 grams of cannabis in 9 separate bags and 2 black backpacks were found as evidence.

The police also stated that the drug, believed to be about 150 grams of cocaine in 12 separate packages, and cannabis weighing approximately 80 grams in three packages, were found in a backpack hidden under the rocks in the region.

The police told that they started an ambush duty on the ground and that the suspect YA, who came to buy the subject materials, came in his vehicle and was arrested by using reasonable force.

The police stated that in the suspect's vehicle, drugs believed to be 5 grams of cannabis, 1 black backpack and a sensitive scale believed to be drug residues were found and given as an indication.

On the same day, the police determined the suspect ET, who was found to be related to the issue, and found the substance believed to be cannabis weighing approximately 2 grams, 7 pills believed to contain narcotic drugs, and 7,545 TL and 950 Euro cash, which was believed to have been obtained from the sale of drugs. He said he had been taken.

The police stated that the investigation was continuing and demanded that the suspects be detained for 1 day.
