Fire in an aluminum industry in Lefkosa

A fire broke out on Saturday afternoon in the warehouse part of an aluminum workshop operating in the Lefkcosia Organized Industrial Zone.

In a statement by the Police Press Office, it was stated that the cause of the fire, which broke out at around 12.40pm on Saturday, has not yet been determined. 

While the fire was extinguished by firefighters, aluminum profiles, silicones, foam, rubber wicks, electrical installation and rolling shutter motors were burned in the warehouse area as a result of the fire, while the roof and walls of the production area were damaged by processing. 

The police investigation into the incident continues.
