Man found with 152 drug pills and cannabis in Lefkosa

A 27-year-old man was found with 152 drug pills and 10 grams of jute cannabis in Lefkosa on Monday.

The suspect named only as FB, 25 was identified during an operation carried out by the teams of the Narcotics and Smuggling Prevention Directorate at around 11:00am on Monday, April, 17 in Lefkosa.

Police said they found 152 pills believed to contain narcotic drugs, a cannabis type drug weighing approximately 10 grams in a search carried out on his residence. 

5,700 Turkish Liras and 100 US Dollars, believed to have been obtained from the sale of drugs were found and taken as evidence.

The person in question has been arrested and the investigation continues.
