Police detains two people after 512 pills was found on them

Two people who were stopped by the police for "dangerous driving"in Güzelyurt on Friday were arrested by the police after they were found with a total of 512 green prescription pills.

The two suspects were taken to court on Saturday on charges of 

Police told the court that the vehicle belonging to one of the suspect named only as HN was stopped as a result of "dangerous driving." A total of 64 "Alyse" brand pills, which are subject to green prescription, were found in the vehicle following a search.

The police stated that the two suspects in the vehicle were arrested. A search was carried out in one of the suspect's house in Gönyeli, where 448 pills of the same brand, subject to green prescription, were found.

They were taken as evidence.

The police demanded that the matter has just started and that the statements to be taken and the voluntary statements given by the suspects will be confirmed and refuted

The judge ordered that the suspects to be detained by the police for 3 days for investigation purposes.
