Naked wire falls on truck, driver injured in Haspolat

A truck driver was injured and the truck cut fire after it came in contact with a naked wire in Haspolat on Saturday.

63-year-old Ahmet was trying to unload a pickup truck in front of a Taşkent Tavukçuluk in Haspolat at around 1:45pm on Saturday when he lifted the box of the truck and in the process the box touched the electric cable above it causing the wire to cut and fell on the truck.

Ahmet was electrocuted and injured in the process while the truck caught fire. He was taken to the hospital.

The fire was extinguished by firefighters.

The truck was completely burned and became unusable. 

An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
