Five people arrested for stealing 5 domestic gas from homes

Just when there was domestic gas scarcity in the TRNC, some people were going around stealing gas cylinders from homes.

Turkish Cypriot police arrested and detained 5 people Turkis men for stealing gas cylinders from 3 different houses.

The suspects named only as EK, Ö.B., Ş.D., H.Ö. and I.E reportedly committed the crime on Wednesday, June, 14 in Alayköy.

They were arrested and brought to court on Friday, June, 16 on charges of theft and entering a property illegally.

Police said the suspects had stolen 5 10-kilogram gas cylinders from 3 different houses on Wednesday.

The police stated that the investigation was continuing and demanded that the suspects be detained for 3 days.
