Turkish Lira continues to slid against foreign currencies

The Turkish lira has continued to depreciate against foreign currencies as it trades against the pounds Sterling at 26.15 on Thursday.

The dollar/TL rate, which saw its historical peak after the presidential run-off elections on Sunday, May 28 in Turkey, started the first day of June with a record rising to 20.82 TL.

According to the data of exchange.com, the dollar as at 7.15am on Thursday was sold at 20.75 TL. A similar record was broken in Euro/TL, which reached the level of 22.66. The euro is currently trading at 22.24 while the Pounds Sterling exceeded 26 TL level.

The price of 1 British Pound (GBP) corresponds to 26,1526 TL currently.
The British Pound (GBP) has changed by 0.79%  in the last 24 hours and by 6.12% in the last week.
British Pound (GBP) reached its highest level in  a month with  26.1526 on 01.06.2023.
British Pound (GBP)  reached the lowest level of  the last month with  24.5037 on 03.05.2023.
