Fire in a Famagusta apartment occupied by a student

There was a fire incident in an apartment occupied by a Nigerian in Famagusta on Sunday.

Police said the fire broke out on the balcony of the apartment occupied by a Nigerian student, probably due to a cigarette butt that was thrown out without extinguishing.

The fire was extinguished by the Fire Brigades.

The exterior and interior units of the air conditioner on the balcony, 2 plastic chairs, a bicycle and a curtain chandelier were burned as a result of the fire.

Investigation into the incident continues.
