Nine people arrested for living in TRNC illegally

Nine people were identified and arrested for living illegally in north Cyprus in an inspection carried out across the country.

Police in a statement said, 9 people who were found to be without a residence permit were arrested during inspections carried out by the police throughout the country.

Also, a business that broadcasts music even though they do not have a music broadcasting permit, 2 businesses that did not comply with the closing hours, and 2 businesses that sell alcoholic drinks even though they do not have a license to were closed.

Legal actions was initiated against them and other workplace operators.
