Student assaults roommate, damage laptop and phone over loud music in Girne

You don't have a resident permit but have the ability to assault a roommate over music?

A man who assaulted his room mate and destroyed his computer for playing loud music has been found to be living illegally in north Cyprus.

The incident happened in Girne on Sunday, August, 6 when the suspect identified only as CCJ, 24, an international student beat his 34-year-old room mate because the music he was playing was very loud.

He then deliberately threw the laptop and mobile phone belonging to the roommate on the ground and damaged it.

The suspect was arrested.

It was determined during investigation, that he was residing in the country without a residence permit.
