The man named only as ANAI, 21, a Sudanese citizen reportedly entered an office named Ekin Adademir Plaza, located in NeÅŸe Sokak, LefkoÅŸa, between August 13-15 without the consent of the owner.

He was identified arrested following a complaint by the owner of the office.

Investigation into the suspect revealed that he has been living in the TRNC for 258 days without a resident permit. Police said he had been living illegally in the country since October, 9, 2022.

Police said the suspect said he slept in the office space because he had no place to stay.
