Yellow weather warning issued for Tuesday in Cyprus

A double yellow weather warning for high temperatures has been issued for Tuesday. 

Cyprus remains in the grip of a mini heatave with a low pressure system and hot air masses as conditions remain difficult for people suffering from long term illnesses and high dust levels also persisting in the atmosphere with hazardous small particles not expected to clear out at least before Wednesday.

The warning will be in effect until 6pm Tuesday.

Temperatures will be 42 C inland, 31 C in the west coasts, 34 C in the north coastal areas, 35 C in the remaining coastal areas, and 35 C in the mountains.
