Magnitude 3.3 quake hits Limassol, Cyprus early on Friday

A light earthquake of, magnitude 3.3 hit the coastal city of Limassol in Cyprus early morning on Friday.

According to the Cyprus National Observatory of Athens (NOA), the earthquake hit exactly at 2:42 am local time at a shallow depth of 18.4 km.

The exact magnitude, epicenter, and depth of the quake might be revised within the next few hours or minutes as seismologists review data and refine their calculations.

No damages or injuries was reported.
