Man arrested in North Cyprus for killing a stray dog

The TRNC authorities arrested a Turkish Cypriot man for killing a stray dog in Gemikonağı.

The man named only as H.C, 73 was arrested on Thursday following a complaint.

Police said he came out of his car and hit one of two dogs on the side of the road killing the dog in the process.

He will face legal action on charges of “acting against the Animal Welfare Law”.
