Six injured in accident on the Girne-Lefkosa highway

No fewer than six people were injured in an accident that happened on the Girne-Lefkosa highway on Sunday night when three vehicles collided with each other.

The accident happened near Lavinium Site on the Kyrenia-Lefkosa high way at around 10:30pm on Sunday.

According to police report, one of the vehicles involved in the accident driven by one Ahemt, 49 was driving towards Lefkosa when it collided with another vehicle driver by Yagup, 56. 

Six people, including one child, and both drivers were injured in the accident.

They, were taken to the Lefkcosia Dr Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital for treatment.
