Total of 26 people arrested for living in the TRNC without a resident permit

No less than 26 people were identified and arrested across the TRNC on Monday for living in the country without a resident permit.

Police in a statement on Tuesday, said a total of 26 individuals who were living illegally in the TRNC were identified and arrested by the police during inspections carried out across the country on Monday night.

They were taken to court on Tuesday where legal proceeding was opened against them.
