TRNC declares 3 days of National Mourning for killed in Gaza on Tuesday

The TRNC Council of minister has declared 3 days of National mourning in the country to mourn those killed in Gaza on Tuesday.

According to the decision taken by the Council of Ministers, the 3-day mourning period began today, Thursday, October, 19 and will end on Saturday the 21 of October at sun set.

In the decision published in the Official Gazette, “The Council of Ministers has decided to declare national mourning in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus from October 19, 2023 until sunset on October 21, 2023 due to the death and injury of many people as a result of the attacks on the hospital against civilians in Gaza, Palestine on October 17, 2023.”
