The TRNC Parliament on Monday passed a joint declaration condemning Israel's attacks on civilians in Gaza.

The joint declaration condemning Israel's attacks on civilians in Gaza, was supported and signed by the political party leaders and independent MPs represented in the Assembly.

In the joint declaration published on Monday, it was emphasized that full support was given to the UN General Assembly's call for a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.

Reading the text of the joint declaration, Parliament Speaker Zorlu Töre stated that Israel is committing violence against civilians and defenseless Palestinian people in Palestinian lands, especially in Gaza, and that there are violations of the most basic human right, the right to life.

Töre stated that violence was condemned in a joint declaration in this context.
